Product description:
NORESTER 6280 is an ortho DCPD laminating resin specially designed for fire resistance.
NORESTER 6280 is recommended to produce laminates by hand lay up or in compaction.
NORESTER 6280 is thixotropic, pre-accelerated, filled and white.
The resin NORESTER 6280 does not contain halogen and antimony.
NORESTER 6280 has very good fibre wetting and impregnation properties.
NORESTER 6280 decreases styrene emissions during application.

Certificates:
- HL2 R1-R7-R17 according to Norm EN 45545 with GEL COAT 888 SPRAY.
- M1F0 according to Norm NF16-101 with GEL COAT 888 SPRAY.

Compression molding

These processes use either Sheet Moulding
Compound (SMC) or Bulk Moulding Compound
(BMC).
These compounds combine all together resin, catalyst,
reinforcement, fillers and an internal release agent.
They come as sheets for the SMC or rolls for the BMC.
The compounds are then put in between high
temperature regulated mould parts which are
pressed together to give the compound the
desired form.

Advantages of the method:

- High cadence and productivity,

- Reduction of styrene emission due to the closed mould,

- Both sides will be smooth,

- The thickness of the parts produced will be even.
